  • Skilled Trades / Construction Northallerton (DL6 2YD) £35,310.46 per annum + callout payments, optional overtime and + company vehicle Van provided and can be used for travel to and from work Full-time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri) Permanent 4 day week trial from February We have recently reviewed our call out and standby payments! We have an opportunity for a qualified Heating Engineer to service, repair and install gas, oil, LPG, renewable and water systems in our properties.
With a positive and self-motivated approach to work, you’ll demonstrate excellent customer care skills, as you liaise with tenants to ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out in their homes.The role Key responsibilities include:
  • Undertaking all servicing, breakdown, and repairs of heating and gas systems owned by Broadacres Housing Association
  • Carrying out the replacement of central heating systems
  • Ensuring the safety and security of tenants and properties when completing maintenance and repairs What do you need to have / be?
  • Qualified domestic plumber
  • Experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sector.
  • Experience of dealing with the public.
  • Experience of servicing and repairs.
  • Understanding of gas regulations
  • Experience of undertaking quality assurance audits on gas/carbon/ oil fuel heating systems and appliances
  • Valid UK driving licence What we can offer in return:
