About The Job

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Facilities & Property Asset Management Team at HM Land Registry. You will play a key part in providing management support for the Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability, providing assurance and delivering organisational and cultural objectives.

This role requires the application of subject matter expertise in health and safety and fire safety legislation and the application of legal requirements within HM Land Registry.As part of your role you will manage HM Land Registry’s health and safety and sustainability management systems in line with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.

You will be responsible for delivering consistency in all aspects of health and safety training, as well as providing advice and guidance to managers and staff on applying health and safety policy, procedures, and risk assessments.

You will work collaboratively across the Facilities and Property Asset Management group to ensure health, safety and fire safety management is at the core of project management plans and aligns with sustainability and Net Zero targets, and conduct investigations into adverse events and identify opportunities for improvements in policy, procedures and risk management to enhance health and safety management systems.To be successful in this role you will be qualified to Graduate IOSH Level 6 or an equivalent accreditation, and have a proven track record in managing health and safety compliance for office environments.

You will have a strong ability and experience in designing and delivering health and safety training for a variety of audiences (including Senior Managers and Line Managers).

You will be able to demonstrate analysis of health and safety data. This should include analysing trends and delivering rectification plans. You will also be able to develop and present complex data to a variety of stakeholders (including senior managers and suppliers)

You will have a good understanding of stakeholder management together with the communication skills to support this is essential.

The sift will take place shortly after the closing date. If successful at shortlisting stage, you will be invited to attend a virtual, blended interview and deliver a pre-prepared presentation week commencing 6 June 2022, which will be held through MS Teams.

The topic for the pre-prepared presentation will be provided to candidates invited to interview after the application sift.
