Hours: 37 Hours a week, 52 weeks per year

Four Dwellings Academy is moving from strength to strength. We are a proud, genuinely comprehensive school in the heart of the Quinton community in Birmingham. We are ambitious for all our pupils and are determined that they should achieve academic excellence and develop strength of character. We have a committed and ambitious team, and have been very successful at developing teachers and leaders with progression both within and beyond the academy across the wider Trust.

An opportunity has arisen to work within our fantastic Pastoral Team here at Four Dwellings Academy as a non-teaching Head of Year. There are two permanent posts available.The successful candidate will possess the necessary interpersonal skills thus enabling them to establish trusting, supportive and effective working partnerships with young people, parents and carers.

We are looking for:

• A proven record of raising and maintaining standards.
• The ability to consult, devise, communicate, implement, monitor and evaluate improvement with a relentless focus on student outcomes.
• Relevant qualifications and a record of professional development (both formal and through appropriate experience) to meet the challenge of the job specification.
• A genuine commitment to making a positive contribution to the academy.
