  • Establishment of a viral gene therapy GMP manufacturing organisation at FDBK.
  • Management of the day to day manufacturing operations to ensure the accurate and timely manufacture of ATMPs.
  • Management and oversight of the manufacturing operations team.
  • Engage with the wider VGT business to drive, and ensure the standardisation of manufacturing operations.
  • Represent VGT manufacturing with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and persuade
  • Able to present a position to a range of people, including auditors based on fact and risk appropriate management
  • Desire to improved ways of working that increases efficiency/effectiveness and ultimately reduces risk to patient.
  • Understanding of GMP and importance in early phase manufacturing
  • Positive self-image – where individual is able to project confidence to their team
  • Ability to delegate comfortably to make time to make strategic changes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
