As Head of Reverse Logistics your role will be geared towards managing all aspects of Client reverse logistics on site. You will develop and deliver a culture of continuous improvement through deployment and training of the ‘Unipart Way’, demonstrate leadership across the site, and develop relationships with all accounts to provide industry leading standards of logistics. Engaging with the wider operations teams to deliver best practice across the estate will be a key part of the role enabling you to develop a dynamic, motivated and skilled operational team, delivering world class customer experience at optimal level of operating efficiency.

Head of Reverse Logistics - Mobile technology repair Responsibilities:

  • Business continuity planning for areas of responsibility as well as cross functional working to deliver for the whole site.
  • Implementation of digital projects and automation to add in resilience to business processes.
  • Delivering Unipart Way objectives across reverse logistics within the client account.
  • Support the delivery of industry leading repair metrics.
  • Working in conjunction with all support functions to create a succession plan across the accounts creating appropriate development opportunities in line with individual development plans.
  • Responsible for adherence and deployment of operations projects within reverse logistics including regular project review against aims.
  • Delivery and improvement of client prescribed repair and technical processes.
  • Proactive management of cost base to maximise margin opportunities.
  • End to end stock integrity.
  • Be responsible for driving the efficiency within the warehouse including space and layout.

Head of Reverse Logistics - Mobile technology repair Requirements:

  • Experience in a reverse logistics operation.
  • Clear leadership, energy and passion.
  • Exemplary levels of knowledge of Warehousing, Distribution, and Health and Safety.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop large teams and resource plan.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a challenging and constantly changing environment.
  • Experience of managing a fast-moving volume driven environment.
  • Proven effective relationships with clients and customers.
  • Good working knowledge of systems related to warehousing and distribution.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • Financial awareness and budgetary knowledge.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
