As Head of Project Portfolio Optimization, you will head a team of 9 highly skilled Portfolio managers, process managers and digital developers working across the global Offshore Sales & Execution organizations. Here we are focusing on delivering high quality decision material to key senior stakeholders managing the design and delivery of multi-billion wind farm projects. As the Head of the team, you will be utilizing your leadership skills while at the same time apply your experience within business analysis in structuring the problem thesis, analyzing the issue, then subsequently develop and implement the solution in close collaboration with industry experts.

How To Contribute To Our Vision

As our new Head of Project Portfolio Optimization you will be responsible for the leadership, mentoring and development of team members, embracing Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy’s (SGRE) company values and ethics based upon a culture of open communication and visible presence.

A key aspect in this position will be to proactively identify, initiate and drive operational improvement opportunities within Offshore Execution organization. You will apply your analytical mindset and visual presentation skills to deliver detailed and precise summaries of information, development of decision proposals and communication of action plans and results. It is an important part of the role to scope, execute and summarize workshops and presentations to support the implementation of solutions in our scope. Additionally, you will work with creative concepts for improvements as well as deliver practical solutions.

What You Need To Make a Difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

The ideal candidate has successfully completed a master’s degree in management, business engineering or natural science. We also imagine that you have minimum 5 years of professional working experience - ideally several years in a strategic management consultancy or strategy department of a large or mid-sized corporation.

You have a demonstrated track-record of managing multiple projects tasks based on priority, proven experience in developing optimization concepts and taking a holistic end-to-end perspective as well as in implementing developed concepts into daily business. It is important for us that you are motivated by analytical work, advisory and leadership.

In this role it is a must that you have strong interpersonal skills as you will interact and work with people at all levels of the organization.

Since we are an international company, it is important that you have excellent English skills and enjoy a diverse working environment.
