Reporting into General Counsel, the Product Compliance Director will be responsible for providing compliance and regulatory coverage for all products across all global markets at Holland & Barrett. Managing multiple teams of Compliance experts, you will ensure the Product Compliance function proactively designs, delivers and maintains best-in-class Compliance programmes, policies and practices in collaboration with key partners across the business.
  • Designs and delivers the Product Compliance strategy in line with H&B corporate strategy, customer objectives and company mission.
  • Oversees and monitors the identification of regulatory developments including enforcement actions, new laws, regulations, rules and interpretations of guidance relating to H&B, product categories and business functions
  • Provides oversight and guidance over the assessment of complex issues, structures potential solutions and drives effective resolution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provides ongoing advice to the Legal function and H&B Executive regarding product risks, opportunities, new initiatives, strategic impacts and supplier/vendor-related matters
  • Stays abreast of relevant changes to rules, regulations and other industry news impacting current and future product portfolio
  • Drives continuous improvement across Regs teams to advance processes, ways of working and cross-functional collaboration
  • Advises on the applicability of policies, resolution of risks and compliance escalations
  • Defines the framework and standards for performing the timely resolution of compliance reviews
  • Responsible for the implementation of new Compliance systems, controls and project initiatives
  • Responsible for the development and administration of Product Compliance training across the function, and supports with required upskilling for business partners
  • Participates in relevant industry groups and trade associations
  • Coaches, manages and priorities portfolio with senior team and wider Legal function
