We are looking for a Head of Leasehold and Commercial Services to join our team. This role will focus on delivering transformation across the department and shaping the direction of the team to deliver on strategy, inline with our 2 year strategy plan.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the Executive Management Team (EMT) you will work closely with other managers to identify and assess new opportunities to generate receipts from potential stock rationalisation and/or alternative opportunities
  • Identify opportunities and deliver projects (with or without investment) to generate or improve income, increase asset value and/or release capital receipts for the betterment of the group
  • Lead of all aspects of management and performance of all commercial and residential assets within your portfolio, ensuring they are managed in accordance with the terms of their tenancy, leases, legislation, regulation, and best practice
  • Lead on any Major Works projects from the feasibility stage through to the conclusion of the final account. Incorporating but not limited to: residents’ meetings, Section 20 consultation, observations, repayment options, representing the homeowners’ views and ensuring that the project is fully compliant with the relevant legislation and codes of best practice

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a senior position within the leasehold and commercial sector within housing
  • Experience of development of working practice/ processes to meet the regulator and legal requirements of the sector
  • Evidence of leading change and driving improvements in performance
  • Strategic thinker - able to foresee the needs of our customers and therefore the needs to service needs to meet. Pre-empt service delivery requirements
  • Influencer - bale to influence change across team that are not in your direct control to drive excellent service for leasehold and commercial customers
  • Excellent organisation skills and management skills, able to keep self and others on track to deliver to time and budget
