Permanent need for a Head of Finance with ideally, an immediate start

My client is a well-known Charitable Organisation who are looking for a Head of Finance to join them while they undergo a strategic restructure of the team.

Duties Include But Not Limited To
  • Ensure monthly reporting to Senior Management Team through Management Accounts, Rent Reports and other such reports as may be necessary.
  • Ensure monthly payroll is processed with timely HMRC and pension payments.
  • Review European funding claims
  • Ensure all authorised spending is strictly within budget parameters and that tight control is kept on all areas of budget.
  • Scrutinise cost centre reports and take appropriate action to address any overspends.
  • Ensure budget and rent setting process is completed annually, engaging with Budget Holders for their requirements.
  • Prepare quarterly reports to the Board of Trustees highlighting any exceptional occurrences.
  • Lead on the strategic direction of finance.
  • Lead Finance Quality Assurance.
  • Lead contact with suppliers of strategic importance.
Person Specification
  • Experience working in a senior level Finance role previously is essential.
  • Excellent Excel capabilities.
  • Experience of using Sage 200 would be advantageous.
