Our client is looking for a Head of Finance to effectively lead and manage the Finance Team and Procurement Manager, ensuring the delivery of a compliant, comprehensive, flexible, and a proactive finance service which supports business needs and objectives.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll manage a large team which includes a Finance Manager, Treasury and Accounts Manager, a Procurement Manager, Business Planning Accountant and Finance Officers.

You will provide high level financial analysis support to new business proposals and major projects and ensure the development and delivery of finance strategies including Value for Money, Treasury and Tax. You will also proactively support the organisation to maintain G1/V1 status.

As part of a competent and driven Leadership Team, you will be responsible for progress towards the Corporate Plan, creation and delivery of Annual Business Plans including business objectives and KPI’s and will ensure that activities are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

About You

They are looking for a qualified Accountant with solid post qualification experience. You’ll be skilled in assessing the financial impact of decisions and ensuring value for money. You’ll have excellent report writing and presentation skills along with proficiency in creating and working with spreadsheets and financial systems.

With a strong customer focus, you’ll have proven experience of managing a high performing team.

Experience of working for a housing association is not essential, but is highly desirable.
