HEALTH AND SAFETY EXECUTIVE

The Health & Safety Executive’s Science Division is a world-leading provider of solutions to industry and government. And we’re looking for an experienced expert to come in and own the development and execution of medium and long-term strategy for commercial training.

Influential role

Working at the heart of the HSE’s overall mission to protect lives and livelihoods and help Britain work well, you will have a very influential and wide-ranging role to play, developing first-class, revenue-generating opportunities for our training product.

We’ll look to you to lead the development of the Training business, responding to market trends and opportunities, proactively developing internal and external partnerships to support training delivery and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Managing a team of eight, you’ll work closely with the wider commercial and operational teams, acting as a key link to clients and partners to understand their requirements, commercially qualify opportunities and present back appropriate training products and services to meet them.

Your Skills And Experience

You’ll need a track record of developing and implementing successful commercial growth strategies, including virtual online and digital training offerings. In addition, we’re looking for proven ability to lead a training business, promoting and delivering growth in a business-to-business setting. Well-developed negotiation skills are a must, as is experience of working with partners to achieve strategic goals. Impressive team leadership experience is vital, alongside the ability to see the bigger picture at all times.
