The Role

Head of Commercial Services is a newly created position within the college, with the main focus being to support our ambitions for growth in our commercial services income including our catering provision, nurseries and hire of facilities.

You would be responsible for ensuring that an attractive and high quality service is provided to students and external customers with the target of increasing income and surpluses on our commercial income streams to allow us to re-invest in these services and more widely in the College’s education provision.

As Head of Commercial Services you would directly oversea our Catering and Nursery Services as well as overseeing the hire of key college areas including our Sports Facilities.

Some of the main responsibilities for Head of Commercial Services are:

Lead on the delivery of a high-quality service within your department including catering, nurseries and facilities hire, which leads to outstanding student and customer experience.

Provide dynamic, visible and effective leadership and direction across the department, ensuring that a solutions focused and supportive culture of continuing professional development inspires, enables, empowers and motivates staff to achieve high standards of performance.

Support the development of the commercial services brands. Working with Marketing to effectively promote new commercial service opportunities for the college.
