The Crossley Heath School has an exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified and ambitious Head of Chemistry to join their vibrant and successful science department. The Head of Chemistry will complement the leadership of the three separate science subjects, alongside the Head of Biology and Head of Physics. Science is a very popular subject at Crossley Heath and also attracts large numbers at A level in all three sciences in its well-equipped facilities.


We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated leader who is passionate about their subject and has a commitment to transforming the educational lives of our students through outstanding teaching and learning and by driving positive change within the department.


The successful candidate should have excellent subject knowledge to promote further innovation within the team and be able to raise the profile of science within and outside of school. If you are an ambitious person who embraces change to secure improvement, we would love to hear from you.
