About The Team

FIS is seeking an AI Technology Leader to lead the AI platform and Engineering teams. The role’s remit will be to spearhead the development of the internal AI platform offering for our data scientists, citizen data scientist and statistician community.

What You Will Be Doing

You will lead the AI engineering team to collaboratively work with the data scientists to deliver AI Products across Merchant, Banking and Capital Markets. You will responsible for leading the executive advisory working group on AI platform & Tooling. You will responsible for growing the AI platform and Engineering team.
  • Build the vision, strategy, and roadmap of AI to drive steep impact for our products and create a market leading AI competitive advantage
  • Support to shaping the direction of FIS’s core products by applying cutting-edge AI innovations to tackle problems in Merchant, Banking and Capital Markets
  • Have a clear pulse on innovations across the broader AI community and help FIS identify new opportunities and look around corners
  • Identify and track key success metrics for the AI Platforms
  • Support the development of the AI education agenda across FIS and help FIS become an AI First company
  • Support the Global Head of Enterprise Big Data Services (EBDS) in creating partnerships with industry leaders such as OpenAI, fast.ai etc.
  • Support the executives, specifically Global Head of EBDS, to create an Artificial Intelligence Research agenda similar to Banks and other fintech giants, to develop solutions that are impactful to FIS clients and businesses
  • Ensure the latest commercial research is embedded into our AI platform and our AI products to create a market differentiating competitive advantage
What You Bring
  • BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or another related field
  • Strong leadership, persuasion and teamwork skills. Execution experience to drive multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to translate robust analytics and metrics into simple to understand takeaways, and comfort creating presenting findings to management and business partners
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key product partners
  • A strategic thinker who can help craft plans to multiple stakeholders
  • A collaborator who can work across operating styles and can bring together multiple perspectives
  • Strategic planning expertise, the ability to lead change, and the dream to operate effectively within a dynamic organization
  • Strengths in meeting objectives through influence, facilitation and team building
  • Technical expertise in AI: statistical distribution, Machine Learning, Deep Learning
  • Experience with Snowflake, Kubernetes, PyTorch
  • Experience developing analytic products, technologies, and platforms
