The Role

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Further Education Manager with an Automotive or Construction background to fill an exciting, demanding, post within our College.

To be successful you will be passionate about the Industry Sector and the FE Service and be keen to share this passion with staff and students, driving success. As the Head of Academy – Automotive and Construction you will have an understanding of the sector and also experience relating to Further Education Funding and Management.

This leadership role will be demanding and multifaceted, the ability to respond quickly and appropriately in the face of multiple priorities will be required. The overriding priority will be to maintain and improve service standards for students and other learners in a safe, efficient, effective and consistent manner. The aim is to provide a vocationally relevant education and training service that anticipates and meets the needs of the Sheffield City Region within this important industry sector.
