Role Expectations

The Head Chef at Odyssey Dining embodies the pinnacle of culinary artistry and leadership. This role demands a harmonious blend of creativity, precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. You’ll oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring each dish not only meets but exceeds our exacting standards. From innovating menu concepts to implementing rigorous health and safety protocols, your leadership will ensure seamless execution and delivery of our signature culinary experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary team, fostering an environment of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Design innovative menus in partnership with Chef Jordan Bailey, ensuring a diverse and exquisite dining experience.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including inventory management, order procurement, and maintaining optimal storage conditions.
  • Ensure meticulous execution of recipes, with a focus on quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Elevate basic cooking tasks to an art form, creating signature dishes that enhance our menu offerings.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation, adhering to national and international regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a high-end culinary establishment or as a Head Chef.
  • Advanced culinary qualifications, with a preference for those holding a Level 4 or higher certification in health and safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a team, with a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings and late nights, to align with flight schedules.
  • A valid, clean driving license is preferred to facilitate logistics and operations.
