Salary Range: £23,685.00 - £27,195.00 pro rata per annum (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Contract Type: Part-time, Fixed-term

Hours: minimum of 17.7 hours per week

SGS College have an exciting opportunity for a Hairdressing Lecturer at our Filton campus.

SGS College has a highly successful Hairdressing, Beauty and Make-up Artistry Department. We require a highly flexible, motivated individual to undertake teaching, learning and assessment of across our Level 2 and 3 hairdressing provision.

Experience of vocational delivery, a learner centric approach, a tangible passion for the subject area and being an effective team player is extremely desirable. You will also need considerable hairdressing experience in industry.

You will be responsible for supporting and driving the success of learners on their Study Programme.

You will have a passion for developing learners’ skills and will support and inspire them in achieving their Long-Term Goals. You possess the ability to manage your own workload, show initiative, gain support and guidance when required, embrace a collaborative team approach and be an advocate of learning and growth. You will ideally possess a teaching and/or Assessor’s qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
