Health and Social Care Lecturer

SGS College have an exciting opportunity for an Education and Childcare Lecturer at our Filton campus.

Salary: £23,685.00-£30,624.00 pro rata per annum

Campus: Filton Salary Range: £23,685.00 - £30,624.00 pro rata per annum (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time

Hours: 22.2 hours per week (0.6 fractional post)

SGS College have an exciting opportunity for an Education and Childcare Lecturer at our Filton campus.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Tutor, plan and deliver on the CACHE Level 1 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Young People’s Settings study programme and deliver units on Level 3 Technical Certificate in Health and Social Care
  • Deliver Level 1 Functional Skills Maths
  • Assess work and give feedback to learners verbally and on office teams 365
  • Support the learners to achieve their qualification in collaboration with other lecturer’s in college.
  • Keep records on the team site and Promonitor
  • Complete internal quality assurance documents
Essential

Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Health and Social Care subject
  • Teaching qualification
  • Experience working in Health and Social Care
  • DBS
Beneficial
  • Internal Quality/Verification Certificate
  • Knowledge of NCFE CACHE
  • Taught in FE
