Working under the Commercial Director, the Growth Marketing Manager role is focussed on managing the marketing activity for the brands within The Digital Maze Group. To do this, you’ll be utilising our team (or third parties where required) in design, video, paid media, social media, web development etc.The primary objective of this role is to ensure the Group (and brands within it) are recognisable, up to date and exciting to customers - with a focus on lead generation.Ideally you will have a minimum of one years’ experience in a relevant role, preferably with an agency. The role requires someone capable of managing their own time and priorities, responding to the group’s needs at short notice and carrying out their own research but knowing when to ask for help.You’ll need a genuine interest in the digital marketing industry, a thirst for knowledge and perhaps a bit of a competitive streak.This is a remote position with a couple of days in our office in Long Eaton per month, for meetings and monthly check-ins. All applicants are required to be able to work in the UK. We aren’t currently accepting candidates who reside outside of the UK.Key Responsibilities
  • To develop marketing strategies for the services and pro-actively identify & champion opportunities within the market to maximise sales, profitability and gain market share.
  • Master our messaging and positioning, and manage the development and coordination of assets & materials for all services and marketing campaigns.
  • To lead the development and execution of the marketing activity calendar, aligning it to key business priorities.
  • To be the key marketing contact for sales support, acting as the voice of the market internally and voice of the brand to sales teams, ensuring all activity helps to build business credibility and meet or exceed targets.
  • Take a lead in planning and deploying our digital initiatives in support growth, ensuring a digital first approach across our portfolio.
  • Identifying opportunities for visibility and lead generation.
  • Strategise and manage social media feeds for our brands.
  • Tracking other agency’s marketing activities and ensuring we’re one step ahead.
  • Outbound campaign management.
  • Award application writing.
Mandatory Skills
  • Creative and out the box thinking.
  • Social media strategising.
  • Ability to lead and track projects from beginning to end.
  • An understanding of various digital marketing techniques.
  • Organised with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and marketers.
  • Able to define and communicate marketing requirements.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good analytical thinking.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and on-budget through completion of your own tasks, smart delegation and, where necessary, with outside specialist contractors.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
