TwentyAI are partnered with a leading private equity firm who are looking for someone to join them in a senior group FP&A position. The role is newly created as the firm is very much scaling and need the framework in place for them to be able to do it effectively. They want to push on their reporting capability and want to bring someone in senior enough to make an impact / add firepower very early. They are seeking someone who can demonstrate that they are adaptable, and able to implement effective processes in order to enhance external Reporting.

Role Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

  • Reviewing results in comparison to budget and previous periods, rigorously examining variances to guarantee the accuracy of reporting.
  • Ownership of cost centre reports, and engaging in some collaborative efforts with cost centre stakeholders.
  • Ownership of specific external reporting obligations, ensuring punctual and precise submissions to external authorities and regulatory bodies.

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Contributing to the preparation of annual divisional reforecasts and budgets.
  • Provide ongoing support for management decisions by delivering regular and insightful forecasting and business analysis.
  • Supplying ad hoc business reporting and analysis as needed.

Corporate Accounting

  • Ownership of a range of overseas group entities (including, but not limited to France, Germany, and Luxembourg).
  • Contribute to technical accounting projects.
  • Assuming a pivotal coordination role in the negotiation of Research & Subscription contracts across the entire firm, collaborating with the Head of Group Finance to incorporate a commercial perspective while safeguarding essential business services.
  • Oversee the group wide employee expense management system, becoming an expert and key point of contact to users from across the firm.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, with a minimum of 5+ years PQE.
  • Have a Financial services background (within Private Assets).
  • Excellent IT skills (Eg. MS Office, NetSuite, Oracle).
  • Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Be able to commute into their London based office 4 times a week.
