twentyAI are partnered with a London Based Private Equity firm that is seeking to strengthen its corporate accounting team with an ambitious management accountant

Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts & board reports for the group
  • Preparing annual statutory accounts for the group
  • Preparing quarterly FCA returns and any other regulatory reports
  • Preparing quarterly reports to external investors
  • Analysing and applying quarterly valuations to the investments within the management entities
  • Liaising with local accountants in New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Frankfurt and Luxembourg
  • Inputting into, maintaining and reconciling the NetSuite accounting system
  • Preparation of month-end journals & reconciliations (income, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, revaluations etc.)
  • Preparing intercompany reconciliations
  • Cash management, including monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, preparing cashbooks, entering cash journals, FX forwards monitoring and EMIR returns
  • Preparing the group’s VAT returns, including partial exemption special method and capital goods scheme calculations
  • Preparing recharges to and reconciling transactions with fund entities and portfolio companies
  • Continually looking for improvements to procedures and processes
  • Keeping informed of changes to regulatory and accounting requirements
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of a year’s experience as a management or financial accountant in industry would be advantageous
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (1 years PQE ideal)
  • Experience within the financial services sector would be advantageous
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software would be advantageous
  • A proactive and hardworking approach, able to cope with busy periods at certain times of the year
