ROLE:Group Financial Accountant

HOURS:37.5 hours

We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance Team

What Our Group Financial Accountantwill Do
  • External reporting assist in the preparation of the Groups half year and annual financial statements and supporting notes
  • Ensure compliance in full, with all accounting standards. Research and consider the impact of new /???????changes in accounting standards
  • Statutory Accounts responsibility for the preparation, review, audit, signing and filing of all subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Audit day-to-day management of the HY, interim, FY and statutory account audit process. Oversee each audit process, liaise with external auditors and monitor outstanding audit points
  • Corporation Tax support in the preparation of the subsidiary tax computations and coordinate with external tax advisors (including R&D and Patent Box claims)
  • Group compliance reporting oversee the timely submission to HMRC all aspects of the Groups compliance reporting (VAT, Intrastat, VIES, EC sales, P11d, P46 cars, PAYE and PSA)

What We Need From Our Group Financial Accountant
  • Recognised Professional Qualification ACA or ACCA
  • Ambitious and driven
  • Strong communicator
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • It would be beneficial if you have PLC experience
