The Role

Working proactively to develop and manage digital marketing strategies, their tactical implementation & creation of appropriate digital assets to build the brand in their chosen market segments & geographies. The position is varied & challenging, with an important remit within their next 5 year business plan, Ambition 2026, where they are seeking to push a digital first agenda, developing the right digital solutions to accelerate their progress & points of difference in the interiors industry.

Key accountabilities
  • Accountable for the management & ongoing development of their website within the competitive landscape & within the commercial & transportation interiors industries, developing UX, website architecture, enhanced functionality, managing content & adopting best practice
  • Manage third-party agencies & other digital partners
  • Use & manage digital tools, techniques & tactics, such as SEO, PPC, Google Adwords, re-marketing & A-B testing, to drive targeted traffic to the website
  • Use Google Analytics & social media metrics for data driven insights to understand customer behaviours & to feed into recommendations for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with the ICT & Digital Solutions team to develop the e-commerce platform, marketing automation systems & integration with other business systems & plug-ins
  • Actively manage & promote use of CRM, acting as consultant, trainer & champion
  • Embrace concept of Digital First to push the boundaries of marketing
  • Use digital technologies & platforms to create a media rich digital landscape to promote the brand e.g. creating virtual interiors, online moodboards, delivering webinars, using animation, flipbook software
  • Support & operate strategically across all marketing pillars of activity (Digital, Insight, Comms, Creative, International) to develop digital marketing strategy
  • Advise the marketing team & general business on best practice in the field of digital marketing
The person

An experienced digital marketing expert, with proven ability across wide-ranging digital marketing platforms in either a B2B/ B2C context, applying segmentation techniques & tailored channel marketing, delivering concrete ROI. Experience of designing, building & managing complex websites, leading project teams, managing stakeholder requirements, & managing third-party digital agencies. In-depth knowledge of Google platforms & be a skilled CRM practitioner for marketing & sales management. Excellent ICT skills are a must, along with a flair for digital media & software, & a hunger for exploiting new digital technologies to improve customer engagement and brand experience.
