The Hunt’s Food Group are looking to recruit a creative, enthusiastic and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our team! This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, ever growing family business and work across a variety of interesting projects within the Marketing department. This is an exciting time of change and development within the business and we need a creative individual to help support this.

The right candidate will need to have strong design skills, a creative flare and be able to produce work to a brief but also by using their own initiative.

The main responsibilities of the role will include the following;
  • Monthly print publication production
  • Working with key stakeholders within the business, you will be managing the production of all the monthly promotions brochures
  • Using InDesign to create and use of further Creative Cloud applications to support the design of features, adverts etc
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload is a must for this role to meet with production schedules
  • Liaising with our contracted printing partners for quotes and to ensure deadlines are met, print proofs are signed off etc
  • Sales support materials
  • Creating bespoke collateral to showcase ranges and campaigns and to support the sales team
  • Design support for printed collateral such as POS and event material
  • Digital Activity
  • Assist with the management of the groups brand social media channels
  • Create engaging and original content for social channels adhering to the brand image and corporate guidelines
  • To be creative and think ’outside of the box’ with social content creation utilising both graphics, photography, animation, and video
  • Create and develop design concepts for online marketing communications such as websites and email campaigns
  • Further business support
  • Actively contribute to branding/design meetings by brainstorming new exciting design ideas and concepts, sometimes providing content for presentations to be used in meetings
  • Provide essential internal support to ensure all marketing campaigns are delivered in a timely manner both across all media formats and producing graphics for inhouse use
  • Take responsibility for overall creative design and for multiple tasks, projects and priority should be to ensure they are delivered on time and to a high standard while pushing the boundaries on the creative visuals
The ideal candidate would have a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent, 1 years’ experience in a creative role (graduates welcome) and be an innovative, creative thinker. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a difference and wants to push the boundaries with design. The candidate will need to know how to use the Adobe Creative Suite in their sleep, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

We are a fast-paced business so are looking for someone who can take ownership of their role and use their initiative to help us achieve our marketing objectives. This is a unique opportunity to work on such a variety of projects within an industry that never stays still. We were smashing avocado on toast before it was even cool so an interest in food and trends will be advantageous.

The role will be based at the Hunt’s Head Office in Sherborne. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and work from our other sites in the South West is a must. There will also be opportunity to travel to visit customers, suppliers and attend industry events throughout the UK.
