Graphic Designer/Digital Designer, Oldbury, £25-27k

I am currently working with a warm and friendly company, who due to increased work are now seeking an additional Graphic Designer to bring fresh ideas and concepts to fit both Print and Digital briefs.

Based at company’s Head Office in Oldbury this is initially a 3-month full time contract, however there is the possibility it could develop into a permanent position.

The company presently utilises a wide range media/adobe applications, and the Studio is responsible for producing high quality Print and Digital work. This includes large format print, press/magazine work, image manipulation, illustrations, designs, video and animation, digital brochures, ux design and website user experience designs. The ideal Designer will have a passion for all elements of design and be able to bring fresh eyes/ideas to the team.

Overview:

· Working closely with the In-House Team and Directors as well as an external Creative Agency, to expand and execute marketing and promotional plans.

· Creating Brochures, Leaflets, POS Materials, and Display Ads etc.

· Collaborate with various levels of personnel in the business, while bringing your expertise in graphic and strong visual design.

· Design and develop digital content/graphics across channels including Social Media, Digital Advertisements, Website and Email, this will include Videos, Animations and manipulating / optimising digital images.

· Communicating with external companies including liaising with Printers.

Background/Requirements

· Graphic Design background, covering online and traditional channels.

· Proven record of managing multiple projects, often in a time pressured environment.

· Ability to create ideas/concepts that lead to generating visually appealing campaigns.

· Have skills in digital retouching and image editing.

· Mac literacy - Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

· Good working knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro, Premier Rush or similar experience, coupled with a good understanding of the concept of video (and of course audio).

· Ability to communicate your creative vision across the team.

· Excellent attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.

· The ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

· A strong portfolio of recent work to demonstrate web design skills and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Mac based Graphic Design for Print: 1 year (preferred)
• Digital Design (Web, Social Graphics): 1 year (preferred)
• UI and/or UX: 1 year (preferred)
• Video Editing: 1 year (preferred)
