Salary

£26,000 – £28,000 pa

Purpose of role

Provide creative services (including graphic design, creative direction and digital services) to facilitate the production of Discover Magazines and other design and digital related products.

Responsibilities

· Manage the production process of Discover Magazine using Creative Cloud and bespoke magazine production software.

· Build relationships with clients on design and magazine production.

· Manage all the company’s websites and social media accounts

· Plan and execute social media activity

· Design and execute marketing campaigns including email marketing with the purpose of generating sales enquiries

· Maintain and develop all Langdon Scott brands, image and supporting sales and marketing material.

· Provide a design and print service for our customers Proactively contact customers by phone to offer advert design improvement and design services generating additional revenue

· Provide a website design and implementation service for our customers

· Develop and evolve magazine style in keeping with company’s marketing strategy and positioning in the marketplace.

· Source images, illustrations, photographers as required

· Ensure design work is completed within agreed time frames and within budget

· Use variety of software Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Slack, Trello, HubSpot, Dropbox,

Requirements

- Proficient in InDesign, PC not Mac

- Proficient in Wordpress and website design and implemention

- Be highly IT competent while using a range of cloud-based systems such as; Office 365, Hubspot, Dropbox, Slack, Trello, Confluence, Googledrive,), Lastpass, Creative Cloud

- Personal attributes: multi-tasking, attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines and great communication skills

- A self-starter, with initiative and a “can-do” attitude.

- Displays a healthy, positive attitude

- Enjoys working in a small team
