The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland’s national awarding and accreditation body. We are trusted to oversee thousands of qualifications that are available in schools, colleges and workplaces, not just in this country, but around the world.
We are looking for a Content Producer - Graphic Artist to work within the Qualifications Development Directorate in our Assessment Development & Delivery: Assessment Materials team to develop, deliver and maintain a portfolio of qualifications and services to support the needs and aspirations of Scotland, its people and its economy.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Graphic Artist who will assist with the production of illustrations and diagrams to be used in confidential assessment materials ensuring they conform to SQA’s design rules, house style and quality standards. Experience of using Graphic Design software is essential (in particular Adobe Creative Suite packages ie Photoshop/llustrator/InDesign etc). In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Using appropriate software, as detailed above, to produce materials of a high standard
- Responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement
- Partaking in appropriate testing to ensure systems are suitable
Additionally you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Time management and completing tasks to deadlines
- Team work
- Attention to detail and diligence
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level SCQF Level 6 (Higher or above) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
