We are seeking a Graduate/Junior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join, an innovative technology company based in Guildford.
About the role
The Graduate/Junior Power Electronics Design Engineer will work alongside Senior Engineers in the R&D Team and will initially be responsible for the testing of existing and new products but will quickly work their way up within the R&D Team and then also partake in all aspects of design work, designing power electronics technology for innovative test solutions.
Other aspects of the role include:
- Work with external customers to identify systems requirements.
- Document R&D Activities.
- Develop control algorithms (Digital control).
Requirements of the role
- Degree in Power Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC and ideally, have knowledge of WBG devices.
- Experience in aspects of digital control & control algorithms.
