Graduate Naval Engineer

Who are we?

BMT is an independent design and consulting engineering company with a significant presence in defence and security sectors both in the UK and worldwide. We pride ourselves on being able to tackle the most complex design and multi-disciplinary systems issues. Our services are employed by government and private sector clients to tackle the most intricate design, system and enterprise level challenges in naval platform and system design, through life support, asset management, cyber security, intelligent systems and technical authoring, including the development of standards, policy and regulation as well as decision support for programme, project and digital transformation programmes.

What is the role?

Due to the current and future workload requirements within BMT, we are looking for Graduates to join our Naval Engineering team within our Design and Engineering Team As a graduate, you can expect to receive training from our experienced employees and we will support you to start the journey to achieve Chartered status.

We are looking for graduates who have the following;

• A relevant degree such as Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc.
• An interest to work within the Maritime domain;
• Excellent communication and team building skills;
• Pride in their work and a desire to deliver a first-class service to our clients;
• The determination to further their career and gain Chartered Engineer status.
