Job ProfileMechanical Estimator / Project Coordinator required for a manufacturer based in Ammanford.Graduate Mechanical Estimator Position Overview
  • Outline engineering and project coordination from inception to completion of GRP composite building schemes utilising in house CAD resource
  • Estimate pricing and the preparation of quotations
  • The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects within budget and to customer requirement
  • Evaluation of best design and meeting client specification within a unit production system
  • Liaise and coordinate with production heads of department, other technical, supervisory staff, and subcontractors
  • Attend design review, production meetings and site meetings as required
  • Control of design change during the client revision process and finalising customer approval for uninterrupted manufacture
  • Proactive identification and correction of problems
Graduate Mechanical Estimator Position Requirements
  • Sales/estimating experience with Client interaction
  • Experience using Microsoft office and other relative software such as AutoCAD
A mechanical or engineering qualification graduate or HND could be of benefit but not essential.Graduate Mechanical Estimator Position Remuneration
  • Starting salary £20k-£27k
