The Challenge

Begin your journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic graduate development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Siemens.

  • You will be working hands-on in a small team to deliver new products to the market.
  • You will learn to develop solutions to problems using object orientated design methodologies, within a Lean Design Process.
  • Initially working under the supervision, you will analyse basic requirements, plan, design and implement modules to meet those requirements.
  • You will develop and execute test plans for your module and see it integrated into the final product.
  • Although you will learn to write software, this is not your primary function, it is the use of your electrical knowledge to produce the best product for application on the world’s power networks that is key.

The Candidate

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

  • Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or Communications/Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
  • You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
