STOREMAN

Andover

We are working with a well established client located in Andover, our client in recruiting for a Storeman to join their team.

Job Summary:
To assist with the day to day running of the store area and its coordination including Goods in and Goods out, ensuring that data and documentation related to the stores are accurate and the stock level system is maintained.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers
  • Goods inward documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock
  • Ensuring the Manufacturing Manager is informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering
  • Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure the warehouse stock location areas are maintained and stock is thoughtfully located for efficient access
  • Assist with continual stock checks to ensure stock level accuracy
  • Organising the dispatch of finished goods and products
  • Drive, unload, and load using the company forklift when required

Key Profile and Competencies:

  • Excellent time management
  • Forklift License (Not essential)
  • Pro-active, Team player with consideration of others
  • Ability to work on their own when required
  • High attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive ‘Can do attitude’ with the ability to be flexible, hardworking
