Stem Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a goods inspector to work with an Engineering company in the Edinburgh area. This role would suit someone with a previous experience doing quality checks in a production or manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of quality duties to ensure integrity of the finished product in accordance with all quality regulations, specifications, standards, goals, and objectives.
Some of the responsibilities are:
· Goods Inspection and logging of customer specific critical parts
· Checking Parts are as specified to customer requirements
· Inspection of metalwork
· Segregate and quarantine non-conforming product where necessary and liaise with materials/supplier
· Raise/ address non-conformances as required
