Overview

Waters Corporation is currently seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to help drive our global manufacturing optimisation efforts as we transform & implement Industry 4.0 practices. The successful applicant will become part of the Global Manufacturing Project Management Office and will steer efforts in identifying and driving both process and system improvements within our global manufacturing network. The ability to understand and effectively implement harmonized process across an extensive network and complex product portfolio is required. Candidates should be highly motivated and enterprise minded with an appetite for advocating change across a global manufacturing footprint.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple global and organization-wide projects which enhance capabilities within the manufacturing function increasing effectiveness , flexibility and productivity within the business
  • Identify business cases for , and c hampion , Industry 4.0 within Manufacturing and help identify , standardise and optimise business processes across the network
  • Maximi s e existing system functionality within the manufacturing organi s ation while seeking opportunities to introduce contemporary processes and systems
  • Bridge communication between the business stakeholders and IT , ensur ing change is understood, implemented and ad opted .
  • E nsur e there is cross-functional alignment and collaboration with enterprise-wide business units
  • R epresent stakeholders w hen new technology or processes are implemented across the globe ensuring that end to end change management is practi s ed
  • Provide functional and technical support including training of system functionality to end - users
  • Be flexible with daily tasks, sometimes wearing multiple hats
Education

Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in a relevant Business, Scientific or Engineering discipline, Apprentice trained or equivalent experience.
Experience

& Competencies
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing business systems and processes with demonstrable experience of supporting digital change within an organisation
  • Logical and enterprise minded with the ability to model and map business processes whilst capturing nuance within system requirements
  • Analytically minded and data - driven with the ability to explore the existing data to help guide the process
  • Strong communication skills are required, with the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Significant experience within the manufacturing sector required . Medical device or complex assembly & test experience preferred
  • Experience with M anufacturing Execution Systems , Power BI , Azure, SAP ERP & APO and S4 Hana Preferred
Travel (If Applicable)

Some travel between global manufacturing facilities will be occasionally required
