About The Job

The Global Cloud Network Architect will be responsible for both design and implementation of new solutions to the business covering cloud networking capabilities.

He / She will participate in technology evaluation, planning and deployment to support our strategic move to SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services.

The Global Cloud Network Architect will be part of global IDS (Information and Digital Services) Organization. He / She will report directly to the Global Senior Architecture Manager.

This is a global position opened by default in Paris but which could also be in other locations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Cloud network architecture and design in a global organization
  • Develop specifications, implement, and maintain cloud network/security architecture for systems/applications.
  • Design and implement a full cloud connectivity on a global landscape that will meet business requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve routing and interconnectivity issues
  • Help to deploy configuration changes layers utilizing infrastructure as Code
  • Provide reliable & cost-effective solutions for any cloud workloads
  • Collaborate with Run Teams (Cybersecurity and Network) to always determine the best Cloud network solution
  • Maintain and update Network architecture diagrams / documentations and make sure they are well communication to the organization

Main Skills
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within an international collaborative environment.
  • Skilled in leading meetings internally and with clients / suppliers.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and work with diverse project teams.
  • Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technology, including visual intelligence and earch.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with senior business and IT executives.
  • Willing to test and innovate initiative.

Experience
  • 10+ years network design experience with 5 years of cloud (AWS / Azure or others)
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, OCI, etc.
  • Experience with Cloud Connectivity (ExpressRoute / FastConnect)
  • Good understanding of Software Defined Networking offerings from top tier vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Versa, etc.
  • Good understanding of Edge computing / networks.
  • Proficiency with network cybersecurity architectures.
  • Good knowledge on Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco) and Load Balancers (F5 / Cloud Native).

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Any cloud Certification will be appreciated.
