Job Summary
  • The Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts is responsible for (an) assigned account(s) and is responsible for driving profitable growth and operational delivery for the company.
  • The Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts represents the whole spectrum of the business’s portfolio (Clinical and Commercial) across assigned accounts and ensures that robust strategic growth plans (Gross Awards, Revenues and Profit), P&L targets and excellent operational delivery are developed and attained. The Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts responsibilities also include leadership of a strong and experienced key account management team, managing to and achieving quarterly and annual targets, development of robust strategic plans to drive growth, solutions design, development and oversight. The incumbent also involves the necessary parties in the development and execution of those plans.
  • The successful incumbent will expand and maintain relationships and is responsible for driving profitable growth and strong operational delivery resulting in customer expectations being exceeded and a resulting increase in market share occurs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Leadership/Supervisory Role: The first and most prominent role of the Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts is to provide leadership over the assigned account team (s) and key account(s). The Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts deals in the achievement of excellence and insight to surpass customer expectations. In this position, the Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts proactively leads the strategic account planning process and executes performance objectives, sales targets, KPI’s and critical milestones for weekly/monthly/quarterly/ annual periods.
  • Leads their team in assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on a regular basis. Also develops solutions that best address customer needs while simultaneously coordinating the involvement of the necessary stakeholders inclusive of support, service, and resource management in order to exceed key account performance objectives and the customers’ expectations.
  • Accountable for the achievement of the account’s assigned targets for profitable sales volume and achievement of the business’s overall objectives. The incumbent also leads the modeling of the account’s departmental vision and values and oversees their adoption.
  • Acts as a leader and mentor to key personnel, assisting in the execution of duties where necessary, constantly honing their skills and ensuring constant professional development.
  • Drives and oversees the development of account specific growth strategies and approaches across the Syneos Health enterprise. The incumbent must understand customer strategic plans and can readily craft solutions that help the customer achieve their overall strategy and growth plans as well as those of the company.
  • Achieves sales, revenue and profit goals and strategies that advance the key accounts’ performance and enables the achievement of the departments’ as well as the business’s financial goals.
  • Builds strong and long-lasting relationships with customers through the creation of long- term planning and understanding. This also done through the establishment of a solid understanding of the competitive market in order to realize how best to acquire and retain high-value relationships and customers. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring customer ecosystems are mapped and is expert at guiding stakeholders through complex customer decision making processes. The incumbent understands customer company culture and work processes and ensures all who interact with customers are briefed and understand the nuances of working with them.
  • Highly collaborative, works to create cross-functional engagements and understandings with appropriate departments to align goals and approaches that facilitate smooth achievement of key account objectives, develop and execute change initiatives that impact and influence the organization to be more customer centric. Work with finance in determining financial requirements for the department and developing the department’s internal budgetary allocation. Work closely with senior stakeholders in the establishment of departmental strategies, goals, targets and delivery.
  • Oversees and facilitates the gathering of research and data on customer(s), the market and the competitive environment in order to identify growth areas to exceed assigned targets and KPI’s. Partnering with appropriate entities within the corporation to gain critical business intelligence. Gather, compile, analyze and creates formal reports and presentations that will be used collaboratively in the formulation of decisions and strategies.
  • Measures the account team’s (s) performance, weighing it against the business’s targets and KPIs, which also enables the identification of areas of improvement and avails crucial information for strategic development of the business.
Other Duties: The Global Client Solutions Executive, Enterprise Accounts also handles other such duties as he may deem fit in the execution of duties or duties as assigned.

Education

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree and preferably a Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience
  • 10+ years of combined industry and key account experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven and successful track record in establishing strong and long-term customer relationships, being able to retain existing business and develop new business.
Demonstrated ability to grow share in an Enterprise account.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a senior team, leading them to surpassing of goals/targets.
  • Strong Financial acumen and P&L management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee customer programs and deliver on the customer promise.
  • Demonstrated success at building relationships at the highest customer levels
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate customer needs (expressed and unexpressed) into a successful account plan that drives growth in share of market
  • Successfully able to map customer strategy, culture and ecosystem in a way that enhances business opportunity identification and success
  • Demonstrated ability to secure and leverage internal resources from the organization to accelerate performance of customer success
  • Strong executive presence and able to flex style to effectively interact and influence customers and internal constituencies
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel, which are necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
