Our first boot was sold on the 1st April 1960 hence its name the “1460” and it went on to become an iconic, instantly recognisable product with a timeless appeal which is still relevant to consumers all across the world today.

THE GIG

Dr. Martens is looking for a Global Brand Marketing Manager to manage, develop and lead implementation of all consumer facing brand & product campaigns activity to drive consumer awareness, engagement and purchase at a global level.

As the brand marketing guardian, you will inspire the wider team with your attitude for excellence, your unstoppable creative flair and passion for world class delivery will drive business growth.

As our Global Brand Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Strategy, using insights to develop the brand marketing strategy and bring our brand purpose to life.
  • Leadership, deliver brand governance across the business through consumer understanding; taking the brand proposition and values to define clear brand guidelines for all communications which deliver a distinct look, feel and tone of voice
  • Influence, be the go to on our brand marketing strategy and foster relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver on this.
  • Accountability, manage and deliver multi-channel brand campaigns to drive brand awareness and love; managing external agency
  • Management, manage Product Marketing Lead to deliver consumer focused product marketing campaigns to drive consideration and purchase
  • Responsibility, project manage brand partnerships and build marketing plans that incorporate all relevant areas of the business
  • Digital first, work closely with wider Global Marketing team to deliver best in class digital brand experiences and ensure output and delivery with Regional Commercial Teams.
  • Collaboration, in conjunction with Regional Marketing Teams, develop cultural brand experiences
  • Critical thinking, identify, track and optimize relevant campaign KPI’s to be able to provide campaign analysis and communicate to the wider business once delivered to determine ROI

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Significant experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering great brand marketing and content.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management
  • Strategically minded and collaborative, the ability to interpret the strategic vision into consumer-facing connectivity
  • Strong affinity with the Dr. Martens brand and a great eye for detail
  • Sound competitor knowledge, you know what the drivers of brand love are and how to balance this through commercial communications
  • Deep understanding of digital landscape
  • Excellent project management skills
