A fantastic opportunity has opened for a talented German speaking Marketing Manager to join a successful global organisation which specialises in B2B events, shows and exhibitions based in St Albans. You will be providing the marketing support for a range of B2B events, working closely with the Event Leadership and the Marketing Team. You will be required to work from the office in St Albans on a hybrid scheme (2/3 days per week).

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Providing input into the overall Event and Marketing strategies for an event or portfolio of events
  • Managing a small team - setting tasks and goals for marketing executives and providing guidance, training and support
  • Briefing, developing, overseeing, project managing and owning the delivery of a multi-channel on and offline marketing plan
  • Generating content for a variety of marketing activities, including email, web, social media and sales collateral as well as press releases
  • Acting as brand and industry champion for an event or group of events, ensuring that all communication and customer experience complement the brand and enhance the customer journey
About You

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, self-motivated, committed and proactive individual with solid German language skills. It is important that you are skilled in building partner and customer relationships quickly and that you understand market needs - with a good understanding of multichannel marketing, segmented marketing initiatives and databases. You will need the creative ability to develop new business opportunities and launch new initiatives. They offer great career progression perspective as well as a fantastic benefits package.

Profile
  • Required to be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience copywriting for various marketing channels and PR
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • A proven ability to report on the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Track record of successful budget management
  • Strong digital & social marketing experience and understanding
  • Previous PR and advertising campaign management
  • Marketing campaign management (reporting, tracking, KPI delivery)
  • Strategic media partnership management and ability to foster relationships
