POST Recruitment are working with a leading online retailer based in the centre of Harrogate in their search for a German Marketing Assistant.
Part of an exciting and expanding Marketing team, this role will support the German marketing team to deliver the Marketing strategy. Working closely with the Marketing Managers, you will be involved with content, social media, PPC, CRM, PR and day to day running of the website. This role is perfect for a driven and creative candidate looking to develop their Marketing skills and offers the opportunity for progression within the business.

  • Support the content strategy by writing content for all channels and writing creatively for blog articles, social media & the website.
  • Responsible for the running of our organic social media channels on a day-to-day basis including creating posts, replying to incoming messages and engage with our audience
  • Support the PR team with translations, dealing with incoming PR enquiries and building lasting relationships with our media contacts
  • Assisting with product & campaign launches and support the day-to-day running of the German website.
  • Search: Assist the PPC and SEO strategy. This will include learning all things search Engine Marketing including Google & Bing advertising.
  • Support the planning & creation of weekly email marketing campaigns.

What we need from you–

  • Fluent in German & English language
  • Excellent content writing skills
  • Great communication skills
  • An understanding of social media platforms - especially Instagram and Facebook
  • The ability to multi-task and work on numerous projects at once
  • Must be enthusiastic, quick to learn, ambitious, self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a team and show considerable initiative
  • A well organised individual with good time management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
