POST- Recruitment are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the UK’s largest regional business media company outside London.
The company specialises in regional B2B magazines, hosts business events annually and has a growing portfolio of digital products including virtual events, regional websites and daily email newsletters.
We are looking for someone based in the Leeds area to cover the Yorkshire region. In return for working Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 a basic salary of £35-40K + car allowance is on offer as well as a monthly bonus scheme giving a realistic OTE of £50-55K +.

  • Develop a defined Yorkshire territory with a mix of existing clients, and growing the territory with the acquisition of new clients.
  • Achieve sales growth by hitting targets and objectives.
  • Increase income from existing clients and secure support from new clients through strong consultative sales skills.

What we need from you–

  • A minimum 3-4 years business to business sales experience, ideally gained from within the advertising / business media sector.
  • A proven track record of increasing revenue and client base.
  • Experienced in communicating effectively and interacting at a senior level.
  • You may have worked in one of the following roles: Sales Executive, Sales Manager, B2B Sales Executive, Business Sales Manager, Sales Development Manager, Sales Account Manager, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, Business Relationship Executive, Business Relationship Manager, Field Sales Executive, Territory Manager, Media Sales Executive, Advertising Sales Executive.
