Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for a qualified Geography Teacher to work in a secondary school to start from January 2023. . This position is an open vacancy, and there is the opportunity to progress onto a school-based contract . The school is a highly respected institution with fantastic facilities and very welcoming and supportive staff. The school is situated in an area surrounded by bus routes and train links.Benefits
  • Potential to earn up to £140 per day (depending on experience)
  • Payscales will be adhered to with applications encouraged from all experience levels: M1 – UPS3
The role itself involves working closely with the Humanities Department and running Geography lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. A successful Teacher will need to prepare lesson plans and take on marking responsibilities, so a specialist in this area is essential. Applicants will need to have a strong understanding of the subject matter and have the ability to build many relationships with lots of students in all year groups.Additional Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (Geography)
  • Experience planning and delivering lessons or work to KS3 and KS4 students (desirable)
  • Ability to build relationships quickly
  • Ability to start and hit the ground running (with some level of flexibility)
