GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic General Teaching Assistants for supply positions across various client schools in Manchester. This is an excellent chance to work alongside committed staff in welcoming and vibrant educational institutions throughout the area.

Responsibilities Of a General Teaching Assistant

As a General Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing support to individual students or groups, assisting them in reaching their desired academic levels.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs, such as ADHD, ASD, LMD, SEMH, who may require additional assistance.
  • Attending relevant school meetings, briefings, and events.
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure high levels of achievement.
Qualifications And Requirements For a Successful General Teaching Assistant

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification, such as CACHE Level 2 or 3.
  • Display enthusiasm and willingness to support students.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Possess an updated CV with an enhanced DBS or be prepared to apply for one.
