And so, we are looking for aGeneral Factory Operatorto inspect our products to guarantee McCain’s first rate product quality, ensure our products are packaged effectively to reach our customers in prime condition and to maintain Good Manufacturing Practices at all times to keep our people and products safe.

Based at our Grantham plant, you will be responsible for patting fries into trays, packing products into boxes, product inspection, unblocking of machines and general housekeeping tasks.

You will be required to drive and deliver established systems, plans and procedures to demonstrate our effectiveness as a site. You will have a keen eye for continuous improvement and will constantly strive to find areas of improvement to bring about positive change to the site and the team who operate within it.

We are looking for someone who can really make a difference to our plant, who brings experience of working in a team, has excellent physical dexterity, the ability to follow standard work methods and a keen eye for detail.

The shift pattern for this role is an 8 week rotation and includes 12 hour shifts covering days, nights and weekends.
