General Manager, Preloved

As Preloved’s General Manger, you will have overall responsibility for the P&L, growth strategy, and brand identity. You will manage team members working across several channels, as well as co-ordinating site development projects. The primary KPI will be to maximise growth in revenue, new members and brand awareness across the UK and expanding territories.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Construction of future road maps, multi-platform brand strategy, and KPIs.
  • Creating financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Communicating directly with stakeholders.
  • Identifying innovative ways to drive traffic, in addition to further developing existing channels.
  • Working closely with existing partners, including advertisers and government bodies, as well as exploring new partnership opportunities.
  • Managing and reviewing team performance, objectives, and personal development plans.
  • Working closely with core THG personnel including, but not limited to, Developers, Legal Counsel, and C.S. Moderators.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience within a fast-paced, high growth business, across multiple verticals
  • Career background in marketing / brand building
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and digital channels
  • An all-round understanding of Finance, Commercial, Legal, Trading and Marketing
  • Experience with P&L management
  • Involvement in managing a medium to large business with high growth rate
  • Proficient leadership and organisational skills.
  • Proven skills in communication, from junior executives to c-suite
  • Commercially astute and ambitious, with a drive for success and responsibility
  • Resourceful, inventive, and self-confident
