Mallory Court Hotel sits in 10 acres of mature gardens near Leamington Spa. This intimate hotel has just 43 bedrooms, and extensive gardens. The oldest part of the hotel dates back to 1916 and the atmosphere is charming, with two lounges, a drawing room and a conservatory.

The Dining Room holds three AA Rosettes and serves seasonal British cuisine. Many ingredients are sourced from the hotel’s own kitchen gardens, including micro herbs and vegetable flowers.

The Elan Spa opened it’s doors in 2017, in a purpose built building, separate to the main hotel, with 12 spa bedrooms, 7 treatment rooms, hydrotherapy & vitality pools and thermal retreat. Additionally, a café bistro style restaurant used for spa guests during the day and casual dining at night.

What you’ll be doing?

Having repositioned the business in the last few years with a focus on driving profitability – you would join as at key time where continuing that work would be critical, with a focus on driving revenue and maximising profitability, whilst offering unique experiences for our guests.

As General Manager, you and your team will be focused on continually surpassing guest expectations to maintain our reputation in the market for both food quality and hospitality. Managing an established and experienced team of some of the best in their field, you will share your personal passion and knowledge to develop the team, encouraging personal progression and training opportunities.

What you’ll need?

We are looking for an established General Manager working within a similar quality of hotel, ideally gained within Relais & Chateaux, Pride of Britain or Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties.

Financially astute with a keen eye for numbers, you will be driven by the desire to maximise sales and profitability, delivering this through creative sales and marketing activity.

People are our biggest asset and so you will be a natural motivator demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, with proven results at recognising and developing talent to retain your team. You will be highly credible with the ability to develop relationships across all levels of the business, using this to influence business success and to work in collaboration with our support office.
