About Fawley farms:

Fawley Farms is one of the largest producers of outdoor bred pigs in the UK. Fawley Farms is a well-established pig breeding company operating ten breeding herds on sites in Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

General tasks carried out by a farm worker:

  • Tractor driving, Land management
  • Daily checks of the livestock including feeding and straw shredding
  • Maintaining farm cleanliness
  • Machinery maintenance
  • Maintaining a high welfare standard
  • AI, Weaning, Vaccinations

Applicants must be able to work within a team outside in all weathers all year round to complete tasks to a high standard with a good attitude to maintain and improve those standards. Experience with livestock and agricultural machinery would be beneficial but all training can be provided. Fawley Farms are always looking for ways to improve and find more efficient ways of carrying out tasks so applicants must be flexible with this and have a good attitude to try new things and develop their skills.

Driving license:Required/Reliable method of getting to and from work.

Rota:Mon - Fri. 7:30am - 5pm. Week end availability

Incentive payments:Paid every 3 months on top of salary plus Yearly Christmas bonus.
