Myerscough College Farms are looking for someone passionate about farming to join the team as a General Farm Worker.

In this role of General Farm Worker you will be required to assist with the day to day running of the college farms including but not limited to dairy, sheep, beef and tractor operations as directed by the Director of Farm Operations and Innovations and any nominated deputies from time to time.

The successful candidate must be someone who enjoys working both with people and cows, who wants to work within a friendly team in a busy environment and who wants to build on responsibility and take an active part in progressing the herd.

A Level 3 qualification in an appropriate subject is required and you will need previous experience in an agricultural environment and be able to show a level of knowledge and have a passion for farming.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence as the farm is split across 2 units.

The role is 50 hours per week, to include alternate weekends

The salary is Subject to National Living Wage in line with age
