Why we need you

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Fundraising & Marketing Product Manager. We need you to support on the management and development of Cancer Research UKs F&M (Fundraising and Marketing) agreed product area strategy, working closely and collaboratively with key teams across the F&M Directorate to plan, develop and implement improvements to existing products or new products to meet fundraising contribution targets.

What will I be doing?

  • Supporting on the planning, development and oversee the collaborative delivery of the agreed F&M product area strategy, vision, and activity, acting as product champion across the organisation
  • Managing the pipeline of product development activities to serve all product audiences, recognising and exploiting opportunities for growth
  • Managing the agreed F&M product roadmap, operational blueprint and commissioning relevant audience and product insight to help inform Operational decision making
  • Working with the Programme Manager to manage the prioritisation and workflow of annual ops plans
  • Relationship managing key suppliers, external third parties and key stakeholder for the product area
  • Being responsible for maintaining the area, and refresh Product analysis, research and insight, working collaboratively with other insight and analysis areas and commissioning insight to feed into product strategy.

You’ll be able to bring to the role…
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to quickly get buy in and work collaboratively
  • Experience of budget management, P&L management
  • Experience of developing business cases
  • Experience of translating consumer and market insight into product strategy
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, with demonstrable strategic/innovative thinking skills
  • A flexible approach, to comfortably manage ambiguity and changing environments/contexts
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, creating connections to make great things happen.
