TQ Education & Training (part of the Pearson Group) is a provider of outsourced training services to the UK Ministry of Defence, other public sector organisations and private companies both in the UK and overseas. This role will support Functional Skills delivery for the RLC Apprenticeship contract and will based at Waltham House in Beverley and the Defence School of Transport in Leconfield.
Purpose
Provide administrative support for the RLC Apprenticeship Functional Skills provision.
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out administrative duties for the Functional Skills delivery across all Pearson TQ RLC sites.
- Register apprentices on the BKSB e-learning platform.
- Manage Awarding Body registration and certification processes for Functional Skills provision, adhering to strict timelines where necessary.
- Process Speaking and Listening claims with the relevant Awarding Organisation.
- Ensure MIS system and e-portfolio are updated as required, including recognition of prior learning, Functional Skills results, and progress.
- Create registers for all Functional Skills delivery.
- Monitor and update the Functional Skills tracker and registers/schedules with Functional Skills results and progress.
- Monitor Functional Skills results and disseminate to the relevant Pearson TQ staff.
- Maintain accurate records as required of all student assessed work, report progress and achievement of qualifications.
- Support with invigilation and resource preparation at the Defence School of Transport in Leconfield when required.
- Monitor and manage the use of the pool cars, including the maintenance of the vehicles and maintaining accurate records of usage for company management.
- Monitor and manage stationery inventory and process stationery orders, as necessary.
- To produce relevant statistical data to company management.
- Implement company policies and practices in respect of teaching, learning and student support.
- Attend and contribute to team and other operational meetings, as required, and disseminate information.
