Your role


You will be joining the Innovation, Strategy and Design team in frog. We define growth strategies, create inspired innovation portfolios and develop products, services, and experiences that create sustainable, profitable growth for our clients.

All our Directors are responsible for helping shape the direction of travel of the Capability team and the business of frog overall. We expect our directors to lead teams, shape opportunities with clients, craft and deliver great outcomes and be trailblazers in their own right. Some of our Directors also run specific practices within our Discipline teams.

We are looking for a Head of Product Management (Director level) to join the Innovation team in our London office. We’re looking for someone with the ability to lead teams, support their learning and drive thought leadership – whilst excelling at playing a leading role in helping us create world class products for our clients and their customers. Through the successful delivery of our clients’ most ambitious projects and being the Head of our Product Management practice you will build on our reputation for product management excellence at frog.

As head of practice you will lead, shape and grow frog’s highly skilled team of product managers. This is a senior and well-rooted team, with senior practitioners with major product strategy and delivery chops. You will know what is needed to ensure the team continues to evolve and to maintain our position as a leading product team, helping them shape better outcomes for our clients, learn the most they can as a part of the team and collaborate in robust ways with project teams across frog.

As a highly experienced product leader, you will oversee a wide range of client engagements, bringing your expertise to bear and ensuring that we are delivering above and beyond the client’s expectations.


As a leader within IS&D, you will be a decision maker, strategic thinker, driver of internal and external initiatives and responsible for helping to shape the future of frog.

Your Responsibilities


As Head of Product Management you would be responsible for:


  • Leading an ever growing team of product managers. Working to develop each team member and coaching them to build their craft to the best of their ability.
  • Defining the strategy for growth for product management at frog, and defining and executing a plan to get there.
  • Overseeing multiple engagements at once, providing expert product input across all stages of our engagements, from customer, commercial and technical challenges, for all teams
  • Selling programmes of work, leading on the product angle, in collaboration with the frog and Capgemini teams
  • Becoming the product voice for frog, promoting the organisation and work and views, both internally and externally. Regularly speaking at events and contributing content i.e. blogs
  • Collaborating with other frog leaders to define and deliver the strategy for frog

Experience desired:

  • You have extensive professional product management experience within the field
  • You have significant experience of leading a cross-functional team and collaborating with clients and external partners
  • You know what it takes to get to market, and have a huge breadth of experience of shipping product, with strong opinions on how it should be done to be successful
  • You are deeply passionate about the product craft, are well informed of all the latest developments in these areas, and are contributing to their evolution
  • You have extensive experience of leading all aspects of multiple client relationships, and establishing and growing a role as a valued client advisor
  • You have a highly successful track record of leading the pitching for and winning large programmes of work, and growing projects into large accounts


Our Requirements


You should ideally have a graduate degree and have a wealth of experience working in product management – for an innovation consulting firm, a design firm or within a corporate environment, at Director level as a minimum.


You shall be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Powerful Storytelling. You should have an intuitive ability to represent complex concepts in a clear, concise and compelling way.
  • Presentation Skills.You should be experienced presenting to senior executives and large audiences, both formally and informally.
  • Creative Sensibilities.You should have a well-honed aesthetic appreciation, and experience working with creative teams across a range of disciplines and deliverables.
  • Diverse Experience.You will have depth in 1-2 sectors or categories, but you should be able to demonstrate a range of category experience and feel comfortable working across sectors.
  • Contagious Passion.You should see and be inspired by disruptive innovation and transformational ideas, and be able to stoke the fires of those around you.
  • Considered Opinions.You should be able to form thoughtful and considered perspectives, supported by both objective fact and strategic conviction.
  • Inspirational Leadership.You should be able to inspire a team working for you to push for excellence and deliver bold, fresh thinking.
